The Fort Pierce Art Club, Inc. is a oldest not-for-profit art club in St. Lucie County and dates back to the 1950s. It was incorporated in 1966 and became a 501(c)(3). It has been in continuous operation since then.
The club is a member of the St. Lucie County Cultural Alliance organization since 2018 and participate in their events including the hanging of members' art in the Alliance Vault at 111 Orange Avenue, Fort Pierce.
In addition to the programs on the HOME PAGE, the club uses the funds raised from events to support it's scholarship funds. Below are the current scholarships:
COLLEGE: The club offers scholarships for college students through funding available at Indian River State College (IRSC). Contact person:
HIGH SCHOOLS: The club also provides scholarships directly to local high schools for their arts program. The Club requires the grant go to teachers who are members of the club in the recipient school. This allow us to know where the funds have gone.
All proceeds are used to support the arts in St. Lucie County and beyond as the club has members from other counties participating in their events.
