​Edwin Binney, the creator of CRAYOLA, lived and help build the Fort Pierce Inlet and Port of Fort Pierce.

​He was a wonderful generous man to all he meet in New York, Ohio, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and St. Lucie County, Florida.

The Fort Pierce Art Club members and the community are dedicated to preserving the memory of Edwin Binney (Binney & Smith).  The creator of CRAYOLA crayons and a St Lucie County resident (1911 to 1935). 
His creations continue to bring joy to people of all ages!  American Made & Non-toxic!

The Fort Pierce Art Club has been supporting the arts in St. Lucie County since 1955. Incorporated in 1966, the club continues with free art for both young and old.
